Starter 6: What will it take for you and your group to be successful at this literature circles thing? What are things that could go wrong?
ACT Word of the DAY CONDITIONAL Write down its meaning, its part of speech, other versions of the word and a descriptive sentence that uses it. In Class: Literature Circles--check out books, groups assigned themselves the first 20-40 pages (varies by group) Come find out from Watson about your group and get a book. procedures and novel assignment--if you were absent for any reason, you'll need to make up the discussion points. Do so by meeting with your group and asking the answers to the questions below and writing down a summary of their answers. The questions: What do we need for accountability? What do we need for novel knowledge and complete understanding? What do we need to be finished by March 4? What do we need for assessment? HW: GET CAUGHT UP ON THE ESSAY THAT WAS DUE LAST WEEK Starter 6: On the bottom of the novels worksheet you were supposed to
have completed as homework, answer this question: Which of the three novels would you prefer to read for class and why? If you didn’t do the research, write that at the bottom of the worksheet. If you’ve lost the worksheet or don’t have space—figure it out.
